Before founding Qualitas Data, I spent years working across the data landscape, from financial modelling and risk analytics to building data infrastructure solutions for growing businesses. Across industries and continents, one pattern appeared again and again: organisations struggling with data rarely lacked the tools or talent. More often, they lacked clarity, ownership, and a holistic view of how everything was meant to work together.
I saw engineering teams building pipelines with little connection to the business questions they were meant to support. I saw dashboards delivered without trust in the numbers behind them. I saw governance discussed as a formality, only to be left gathering dust in shared drives. The disciplines existed, but too often in isolation, shaped by consultants chasing deliverables and layers of management disconnected from the work itself. The outcome was usually the same: costly systems with very little real value delivered.
Qualitas Data was built in response to that gap. I wanted to create a boutique data specialist firm grounded in care and precision. One that brings governance, engineering, analytics, and data science into a single, coherent practice. Today, that vision is made possible not only by conviction, but by the strength of the team and network around me. In an age being shaped by AI, we have more opportunity than ever to make high-quality data capabilities accessible to growing businesses without the empty promises that so often define the industry.
